For many non-Arab Muslims who have studied Arabic for years, the speaking portion tends to be a more difficult skill to acquire. But with the help of a good teacher, learning to speak Arabic is no longer a distant dream!

Maktab Academy is now offering private courses for students and families seeking to become conversant in the Arabic language. Students will directly communicate with their teacher and set up their timings.

Meet Your Instructor

Ustadh Mazin al-Ahmed was born and raised in Syria. He is a professor of Arabic in the department of Arabic literature at Fatih Sultan Mehmet University in Istanbul, Türkiye. He graduated from the University of Aleppo in 2011. He has been teaching Arabic to non-native speakers for more than ten years in various capacities. His students span between America, Russia, England, and several other countries. He is a robust teacher that seeks to build and fulfill the goals of his students. Along with teaching students how to speak Arabic from scratch, he teaches beginner and advanced Arabic grammar, rhetoric, and the Syrian dialect.
